Hellooo! I'm Alexandre (Alex) Bissessur. I'm a tech enthusiast from the tropical island of Mauritius. Welcome to my corner of the internet!!
On this site, you'll find me talking a lot about Kubernetes, Linux, my extensive homelab, Single Board Computers, and politics (with or without relation to tech). In addition, I often get involed with social issues and the place that FOSS has in shaping a better world. I frequently talk about the fun things I am up to with my personal Kubernetes clusters at home - one made of 3 Dell Optiplex micros, which runs this website and countless other services, and the other made of 7 Pine64 SoPine modules as a fun playground for ARMv8 things.
I'm also an organiser of the local Cloud Native Community Group, dubbed Cloud Native Mauritius, alongside Ish Sookun, Arwin Neil, and my mum Delphine. You can catch me attending, speaking at, or organising the variety of tech meetups in Mauritius. Or, if you're from Europe, catch me at KubeCon!
